Custom Bluetooth Devices

In this section, we look at the first of two Bluetooth protocols supported: Bluetooth RFCOMM. This is a serial port emulation protocol that gives you control over “classic” Bluetooth. Its APIs can be found in the Windows.Devices.Bluetooth.Rfcomm namespace. The next section examines the newer Bluetooth Smart protocol.
