Orientation
Chapter 4, “Layout,” describes how you can detect orientation changes with the static DisplayProperties.OrientationChanged event. This enables you to detect landscape, landscape-flipped, portrait, and portrait-flipped orientations. There are two orientation-related sensor APIs, however, that expose richer data: SimpleOrientationSensor and OrientationSensor.
