Being a Contact Picker Target

By default, the contact picker uses the People app as the target. The People app is the user’s interface into the Windows contact database, allowing adding/removing/editing contacts as well as importing them from a number of different accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google. Still, the contact picker enables other apps to plug in and provide their own notion of contacts independently from the People app. That’s why an app would want to be a Contact Picker contract target.
