Contact Picker
Windows provides a contact picker that enables the user to provide an app with information about his or her contacts. It’s much lesser-known than the file picker, but it follows the same usage and extensibility pattern. It has a corresponding (PC-only) Contact Picker contract, as target apps can integrate with the picker. Because this book hasn’t previously shown an example of consuming the contact picker, this section looks at the contract from both perspectives: the source and the target.
