How it works...

The Blackboard menu allows you to create variables that are accessible from the Inspector. This works in a similar manner to the Properties block in previous chapters. Currently, it supports the following types:

  • Vector1
  • Vector2
  • Vector3
  • Vector4
  • Color
  • Texture
  • Cubemap
  • Boolean

Properties added to the Blackboard can be reordered by dragging them around, and each property can be renamed by double-clicking on the name.
