Chapter 8. TCP/IP Dynamic Routing Protocols

In Chapter 2, "The Networker's Guide to TCP/IP," we reviewed the different protocols that make up the TCP/IP protocol suite. In the section covering Internet Protocol (IP), we reviewed the following:

  • Classful IP addressing

  • Classless IP addressing

  • The IP datagram routing process

  • Static and dynamic routing
