Abstract
Chapter 10 describes the applications of a satellite navigation system, illustrating the different ways the users utilize the positions derived out of it. No service is worthwhile unless it is used for some application. So, this chapter attempts to make the reader aware of the extensive range of applications that are possible with satellite navigation and also to mention the huge volume of work that has been done in this regard. Therefore, instead of concentrating on some specific applications only, this chapter first discusses the current scenario of global navigation satellite system-based applications as a roundup of the entire efforts that have gone into this over the time frame.
