The purpose of this section is to briefly highlight of some of the industry- and/or government-sponsored interoperability initiatives and to provide pointers to additional information where appropriate.
Automotive Network eXchange
The Automotive Network eXchange (ANX) is a TCP/IP-based network that uses Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology based on the IPSec and PKIX standards. The ANX is designed to provide a common infrastructure that will facilitate secure communications among automotive manufacturers.
