Chapter 13. Legal Framework
Before proceeding with this chapter, it is important to note that we are not attorneys, and we are in no way attempting to offer legal advice in this chapter. However, we do attempt to highlight many of the legal issues that can have an impact on any organization that plans to offer services based on PKI technology.
Also note that this chapter is not trying to portray "doom and gloom" for electronic commerce. Although there are a number of problems that require resolution, this field is still young, and we expect to see improvements in these areas in the fullness of time.
