This book is essentially about effecting and understanding our relations with others and ourselves. As we act and behave we have choices that do have consequences for ourselves and others. Ethical decisions are founded on values such as mutual respect, trust and responsibility, which we have irrespective of our spiritual or cultural homes. Acting ethically does not come without a price, because we live in a world of limited resources even in the area of family, children, friends and all other interpersonal relations.
