About the Author
Dr. Victor Canto is La Jolla Economic’s (LJE) founder and chairman, an economic consulting firm located in La Jolla, California. He has served as A.B. Laffer, V.A. Canto & Associates’ president and director of research, a tenured associate professor of finance and business economics at the University of Southern California (1983–1985), an assistant professor of finance and business economics at the University of Southern California (1977–1983), and a visiting professor at the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. He was also a visiting professor of economics at the University of California at Los Angeles (1987).
