10.4. Managing Interdependencies

Growing interdependencies throughout the enterprise should include the finance organization. Governance also helps to manage interdependencies within finance functions to help ensure aggregate optimization of business decisions and organizational structure. This is a much different landscape than you find in many of today's companies, where decisions are made within silos throughout the company rather than being based on networking with other company entities.
