This appendix reports the operative procedures for uncertainty propagation according to some of the methods described in Chapter 6.

A.1 Level 1 Hybrid Probabilistic–Possibilistic Framework

We assume that the uncertainty related to the first n input quantities, img, of the function g is described using the probability distributions img, whereas the uncertainty related to the remaining img quantities img is represented using the possibility distributions img.
