UML for Database Design

Summary

Overall, the project has been very successful. For the first time ever at EAB Healthcare all of the parties involved with the development process were able to work together to solve a business problem. It was great to have the team work together from start to finish while allowing individual groups to take over, where needed, in their own subject matter areas, such as the database designers building the database design. Using one language and notation made it easy for the teams to communicate, and the developers saw the biggest ad vantage in building the database queries needed by the application.
