Converting Audio File Formats
SoundConverter (shown in Figure 16-9) makes it easy to convert MP3 files to Ogg Vorbis format or vice versa. It can also convert AAC files to MP3 or Ogg Vorbis format, if that is of interest to you. Because SoundConverter does not come bundled with Ubuntu, you will have to install it if you haven't already done so. To do so, just run Synaptic, search for soundconverter, and install the application.
