The Fourth TuesdayAbove All Else

 

As I drove out to the lake early the next Tuesday, I wondered how Jeff’s visit had gone with his son, Mark. During our last session, I could tell he was anxious about what was going on in Mark’s life, and I hoped everything had worked out well. But today I also was excited about sharing the results of my assignment with Jeff.

He met me at the door with his usual smile and cup of coffee.

“Hello, Ryan. Thanks for being on time again. I appreciate your promptness,” Jeff said. “You know, that’s an important trait many people overlook.
