Teamwork is required for most development projects. Although some small jobs can be handled by individuals, the scale of modern systems is such and the demand for short schedules is so great, it is physically impossible for one person to do the entire job. Development work is a team activity, and the effectiveness of this teamwork largely determines the quality of the team’s work. The quality of the team’s work, in turn, largely determines the success of the entire project.
