Trusted Signing

This section describes a trusted signature process where a document can be signed in either an ordinary TP or one with a Trusted Display Controller (TDC).

Electronic signing is an area that is receiving increased attention, not least because digital signatures can have some legal validity. A digital signature is a cryptographic mechanism that allows the recipient of a digitally signed message to determine the originator of that message, and to confirm that the message has not been altered since being signed by that originator.
