This chapter has presented an example of the use of TCPA technology in a corporate infrastructure. The benefits of TPs were first explained in the corporate environment, followed by a more detailed explanation of the role of an IT department in the case of a corporate-wide solution (in terms of newly created and modified network components). This example is generic enough to discuss the main problems that arise in the context where a centralized entity (the company's IT department) is responsible for managing the whole architecture, ranging from network facilities to server maintenance and configuration, regardless of the type of corporation.
