Chapter 9. Avoiding Trouble

We examined Configuration Manager troubleshooting techniques in the previous chapters. These techniques ranged from solving problems with deployments to recovering sites after catastrophic failures, with much more in between. It would be great, though, if we could avoid some of these problems in the first place. In this chapter, we will discuss what can be done by Configuration Manager administrators to avoid getting into troublesome situations. It is important to get it right first time during the implementation. Afterward, you should monitor the site carefully and resolve issues before they become really troublesome.
