This chapter covered some deep details about how to troubleshoot core network issues. Some tools, including Wireshark and netcat, were demonstrated, and the reader should be able to use these tools with some confidence. Like any tool, practice makes perfect, so I encourage you to use these for troubleshooting, investigation, and learning.
This chapter also provided some knowledge and reasoning behind how these technologies work. By understanding some of the theory behind the technology, it's my hope that you will be better prepared when finding and resolving a problem.
