Summary

The purpose of this chapter was to take a very different view on troubleshooting web services. From auditing the server with cURL to making performance enhancements with Varnish, we have not only considered the needs of a systems administrator, but we have also discovered the world of CDNs and Dev/Ops with the intention of showing just how versatile a troubleshooter can be and just how important your skills will become.

In the next chapter, we will discuss some techniques used when troubleshooting DNS-based services.
