Managing the Transmedia Property

A transmedia property is essentially an expansive narrative engine constructed to deliver almost unlimited stories across multiple media platforms. Extensive universe and world building with deep character development are necessary to manufacture this immersive storytelling mechanism. Management of this “mega-franchise” begins at its conception and extends over the sales and marketing thresholds. If a brand is grounded in a strong immersive story engine, the consistency of brand identity will be easily realized over multiple media platforms, and transmedia expansion will always remain true to the core narrative.
