Other Forms of Storytelling

Though we often think of film, television and/or video games as the primary sources for (and expressions of) transmedia properties, there are many other platforms that can be used for storytelling, some we have a long history with and others that are more recent or even on the horizon. These can be analog or digital, producer-created or fan-created. They can exist as part of canon, or take an intellectual property in some bizarre and unsettling direction. These other forms of storytelling can be the starting place for a story or where the story universe finds its expression outside the traditional paths.
