Your project has been financed, produced, distributed, marketed, and reviewed. Hopefully it’s been critically acclaimed by the press, other influencers, and your audience. So it’s time for it to receive the laurels that it deserves.

“It’s an honor just to be nominated.” No doubt, but it’s even better to win, especially in entertainment and media. A big industry award increases audiences’ notice of a media property, often translating into revenue. Awards also boost creators’ credibility, giving lift to future projects. Entertainment awards are so valuable that the nominations are touted as if they are the awards themselves. “Golden Globe nominee” or “Emmy-nominated” are much-used qualifiers for people and media properties.
