A Structured Approach to Creating and Moving Strategy Within Projects

Figure 1.9 shows the large number of factors involved in creating project strategy at the front end of a project. This highlights the need for organizations to have an effective way to manage the whole process of project strategy creation, covering not only the front end of a project but also the entire project lifecycle. Our research will show that companies have indeed developed structured approaches for creating and managing project strategy which do cover the entire project lifecycle and which are integrated with business strategy development processes.
