Douglas Prince (b. 1943), who taught with Jerry Uelsmann (1968–1976) and made multi-negative gelatin silver prints, was represented in Photography Into Sculpture by six sealed boxes (all in a single rear-illuminated case), each of which contained an image comprising several sheets of black-and-white positive film, spaced at slight intervals.
