Stage 3: Instructional Design Factors

While instructional designers are building training materials that take into account systemic design factors, they must also incorporate instructional design factors that will increase the likelihood of transfer. As with systemic design factors, instructional design factors in the Transfer Design Model have been expanded to include a greater number of factors than other instructional design models offer—specifically, presenting information, practicing skills, and assessing performance.
