Who Writes the Training Modules?

The design team members write the training modules during team meetings. The real power of team-driven structured OJT is the employees—the ones who know the actual tasks and speak the “language” better than anyone else. They should be the ones who document how to perform the tasks and train others.

As previously suggested, where you have two or more shifts or where employees do the same job in different locations, teams can share the module-writing activity. That way, no one team has the entire load. And these teams easily could serve as approval teams for one another.
