What Goes into the Project Plan?

In general, the project plan should include the following information:

  1. How many and what training modules the design team will write.

  2. The names of the approval team members.

  3. A description of the systematic data collection method.

  4. Baselines for the training, performance, and human factors measurements.

  5. A general timeframe for program development, with schedules for

    • writing the training modules (Step 4 of the eight-step model)

    • creating the training implementation plan (Step 5 of the eight-step model)

    • trying out, evaluating, and modifying the training modules and cover sheets (Step 6 of the eight-step model)

    • reviewing and approving the training modules and cover sheets (Step 6 of the eight-step model)
