A good trainer must also be a good marketer. After all, what good is a great training program that isn’t well attended? Trainers often lament this attendance problem and are perplexed with low attendance numbers when good analysis told them that the need for training was clear. Trainers also need to be good marketers of their training decisions, for example, the decision to use a certain delivery method such as e-learning or the decision to use classroom training instead of self-directed learning.
