What Is a Training System?

If you take the time to create a group or family of coursework that will achieve a stated series of training objectives, you’ve created a training system. For example, a group of SDL modules designed to allow a learner to master a certain set of skills (such as a skill set to be a retail store manager) is a training system. You will notice that this simple example includes the two required components of an individual level training system: It states a need (high-level training for store managers), and it designates a training method (SDL).
