PowerPoint presentations have become ubiquitous in the training profession and, so, merit a brief discussion here. The software is the default software for nearly all presentations whether used by trainers for classroom programs or organizational meetings. PowerPoint has all but eliminated the use of overhead projectors, which were once a training staple, and has made it possible for every trainer to be a graphic artist.
