Training Plans

Despite the seeming chaos of the job, every training assignment must begin with some type of training plan. This rule holds true whether you are creating a single course or a corporate-wide training program. All training plans have the same components, but they can be more or less complex depending on their purpose. Minimum components of the training plan include training objectives, the intended audience, and a delivery method.

When you create a training plan, it will probably look something like Figure 6-1 or 6-2. The first example is a simple plan that you might be able to create with the knowledge you already have. The second example would probably require more experience.
