Robert Fischer, born in 1941 in Berlin, Germany, is president of Fischer Finance Consulting AG, Zug, Switzerland.

The company has held seminars in Chicago, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and other international locations. With his series of seminars, Robert Fischer was the first to introduce to investors a tradable approach to Fibonacci price and time analysis and the logarithmic spiral.

Robert Fischer's primary business has been designing computer programs for trading cash currencies, financial futures, stock index futures, energy and metal futures, soft commodities, mutual funds, and global stock portfolios and options. Since 1991, Robert Fischer has consulted as a commodity trading adviser (CTA) worldwide, with individuals as well as corporations, in managing individual portfolios.

Robert Fischer studied at the University of Cologne and Bochum University in Germany and at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received a degree in business administration in 1976 and lectured as adjunct professor for corporate finance at the University of Trier in Germany from 1976 to 1980.

He has been an invited speaker at many international conferences, and his concept of global asset allocation was published by Dow Jones & Company, Inc., New Jersey, in the Journal of Index Issues in Investing in 1999.
