You have surely heard the Goldline.com commercials on TV and radio (or similar gold hype). They will sell you gold because it is the greatest investment since the dawn of time, and the world is about to fall into complete helter-skelter. Prepare!
Here are my instructions to you. Call Goldline.com. Ask one of their salesmen the simple question: “If I buy gold, when do I ever sell gold?”
I have done it. Their answer is pure comedy. A 20-something bright-eyed salespeople responded to me: “Gold has never crashed.” He added: “If gold was to go again from $800 to $200 you would have plenty of warning to sell.” “Who was going to give me that warning?” I asked. He said, drum roll please: “They would.”
