Building Awareness for Export

Australia’s export promotion efforts are conditioned partly by the fact that the country has only about 25,000 exporters, just 4% of all businesses. This compares with 15% in Canada and much higher proportions for European countries and export-oriented countries like Mauritius. Most exports are handled by very large enterprises, and Australia is far away from its principal trading partners.
