A3.5 Calculate Averages for Metric Items
Our next step was to average metric responses by designating the range of cells to be averaged. To average the metric responses in column S, we formated an empty cell with one decimal place and entered “=AVERAGE(S2:S151).” We revised this formula to average all metric responses (items S-2, S-3, and 4.1–11.5 in columns C, D, and S–BF).
