Chapter 8. Exporting Table Data
This chapter covers the various methods of saving and formatting data from Oracle for use in other applications. For example, it is not an uncommon request at all for DBAs to build a comma-delimited file for use with a spreadsheet application. Conventional methods (that is, SQL*Plus) would take the DBA a half a day or longer. Using TOAD, this task just takes moments.
