Using Source Control

TOAD allows you to check code into and out of any supported Source Code Control package. Notice in Figure 4.64 that the source code control buttons (Check File Out and Check File In) are not greyed out. Many source code control systems use “projects” to organize code. In this example, pick the project that you would want to associate the code with, and TOAD will then check it in. When checking out code, if someone else has it checked out, the source control package you are using will issue a message that TOAD will display saying who has the code checked out and typically when they checked it out.
