Database Browser
The Database Browser is a relatively new addition to Toad (having debuted with Toad 9.5). It is available in Toad only when you purchase the optional Database Admin Module. The idea behind this browser’s development was to create a less cluttered Schema Browser–like interface that would appeal to DBAs, who need a panoramic view of all the database objects, and especially those objects that are not owned by a schema (hence they are truly database-level objects, such as tablespaces, roles, directories, and users). You could argue that all these objects are also available in the Schema Browser and simply show up with no owning schema (for example, PUBLIC).
