Up until now, you’ve been making configuration changes and learning how to work within tmux on your own machine. But one of the most popular uses of tmux by developers is pair programming. It was actually my first introduction to tmux, and I immediately saw the potential as my friend walked me through using its various features.
Pair programming has a lot of great benefits. Working with another developer can help you see things you might not have seen on your own, but unless you’re physically in the same location, pair programming can be somewhat difficult. Screen-sharing through iChat, Skype, or even GoToMeeting takes up a lot of bandwidth and can be dodgy when you’re not using the best network connection. ...
