In Chapter 13, you add your decagon roof to your skyscraper in preparation for it to also become a helipad — you know, a cool helipad for the rich and famous to land on when they are visiting your skyscraper, right?

In this chapter, you develop a big H using Tinkercad text. You make sure that it’s flush with the skyscraper roof so that it looks as though it has been painted onto the roof’s surface.

Getting to the Right View

With your skyscraper design open in Tinkercad, you want to be in an isometric view, zoomed in to the top of the skyscraper, with a clear view of the skyscraper roof. Figure 14-1 gives you an idea of the view you need.

In the isometric view, you need to set the Workplane to the top face of the top floor of the skyscraper, not the top face of the roof.
