Whereas you have a lot of control over the calls you make, you have decidedly less over those you receive. Your phone rings whether it’s a convenient time for you or not. Managing your incoming calls means learning to minimize telephone interruptions and take back control of your time:

Set Up a Callback

If it’s not a good time for you to talk, instead of saying, “I can’t talk right now; call me back,” stop telephone tag in its tracks by suggesting you set up a specific time to talk later.

Cut to the Chase
