Image Delegate effectively

Are you doing tasks that are not your job? Maybe you should delegate them.

To delegate, you must not fear losing control of the task, think you’re the only person who can do it right, believe that you’ll look bad or you don’t have the authority to delegate, or fear that you’ll become dispensable.

Here are the basic steps for delegating:

1. Identify the task.

2. Chart the flow of the task.

3. Find the right person. Who can do it—and maybe even enjoy it?

4. Explain the task.
