Yes, people wear those things to interviews—a lot. A particular candidate came dressed in a low-cut, revealing blouse with a super-short skirt, says real estate specialist Chantay Bridges of Clear-Choice Realty & Associates in Beverly Hills. She didn’t have a chance.

“The managers didn’t consider this candidate a serious contender for the position,” she says. Some of them said, “Did she think she was interviewing for Hooters?”
