#5: Don’t Act Old

I may be chronologically “old” to a 20- or 30-year old. But I don’t see it. And I’ll be darned if anyone else thinks that about me. And that’s what matters most in this job-hunting business—how you see yourself.

No question, there is discrimination against older workers. No employer will say they won’t hire you because of your age. But sometimes, you just know that’s the reason.
