We would like to pay special tribute to two hugely influential thinkers: Sumantra Ghoshal and C. K. Prahalad. We were lucky enough to meet both Sumantra and C.K. on a number of occasions. Both died when they were at the peak of their intellectual powers. Their ideas have proved powerfully prescient in India and far beyond and have had an enormous impact on our lives as well as those of many others.
