Extravagant Computing

Abstract

In this Opportunity chapter, we take performance to the next level, looking at how users and their mobiles might be deployed in highly visible, audible ways in public. Would users be embarrassed? What sorts of the new experiences are possible? In addition we present a detailed case-study from our own work concerned with engaging the public in heritage and visitor sites.
