In your Face Technology

Abstract

The first set of approaches we look at to provide face on interaction are heads-up displays and conversational interfaces. In this Opportunity chapter, we analyze the pros and cons of technologies such as Glass and Siri. While there are uses for these input/output styles we argue they can draw people deeper into the digital, or make them feel less rather than more human.
